Ike Taylor Says He Is Open To Any Opportunity

Ike TaylorSteelers cornerback Ike Taylor, was busy hosting his annual Face Me Ike Football Camp at Arden Cahill Academy in Gretna, Louisiana on Friday, but told reporters that he is willing to play anywhere once the lockout ends. Taylor is set to become an unrestricted free agent once free agency opens and has said back in mid May on the Jim Rome is Burning show that he needs that market value and did not know if he would end his career in a Steelers uniform.

Taylor did not rule out a return to Pittsburgh on Friday though, but did say he is open to any opportunity. “Time will tell,” Taylor said when asked if he wants to return to the Steelers. “I’ve been there for eight years. I’ve been in that city more than any other city in my whole life. But time will tell. I see myself being anywhere I need to be. Wherever you put me, I’m going to make home.”

Steelers linebacker James Farrior and strength coach Tom Shaw helped Taylor with his camp, which he has held for the past seven years back home in Louisiana. Here are some pictures from it.
