The Rich Eisen Podcast made its television debut earlier tonight with Steelers wide receiver Hines Ward as his first guest. Ward talked about his popularity rise since appearing on Dancing with the Stars and gave an update on his thumb injury that occurred week one against the Falcons. Ward gave his thoughts about the new rule that protects defenseless players, how quarterback Ben Roethlisberger has become a better person and how long he wants to continue playing. Ward told Eisen he really wants to win another Super Bowl and might have actually retired had they beat the Packers in Super Bowl XLV.
