Last week the Steelers 2011 preseason schedule was released and today we know the dates and times of the Steelers 2011 regular season schedule.
The Steelers will play five nationally televised primetime games, it was announced today when the NFL released its 2011 regular season schedule. The Steelers nationally televised primetime games at Heinz Field include one against the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday, Nov. 6 at 8:20 p.m., and another on Thursday night, Dec. 8 at 8:20 p.m. against the Cleveland Browns. The Steelers other national primetime games include road games on Sunday, Sept. 25 at Indianapolis (8:20 p.m.), Sunday, Nov. 27 at Kansas City (8:20 p.m.) and Monday, Dec. 19 at San Francisco (8:30 p.m.).
There was speculation that the Steelers would open the season against the Patriots at home on Monday night, but that speculation was untrue as the Steelers play the Patriots week 8 instead. The Steelers bye week in 2011 is week 11. Three of the Steelers first 4 games are on the road with their lone home game coming against the Seahawks in week 2.
