It\’s March Madden time. No, not that March Madness , March Madden. Like the video game Madden 12. Steeler Nation can vote online for Hines Ward to grace the cover of Madden 12. EA Sports along with ESPN SportsNation is having a bracket like contest that pits two players against each other, or in the case of the Seahawks, the 12th man. I find that kind of weird. First up for Hines Ward is the Bengals defensive end Carlos Dunlap. Hines is the number 2 seed on his side of the bracket while Dunlap is the 15th. Should Hines advance in round 1, it seems he will face the winner between The 12th Man and 49ers linebacker Patrick Willis. Looks like an interesting contest nonetheless and Hines certainly is not short on attention as of late with his debut Monday night on Dancing with the Stars. I would say Ward has a good chance of making it to the Final Four in this Madden cover contest, but it is up to the fans to make it happen. ESPN SportsNation host Colin Cowherd and Michelle Beadle will have interviews with the contestants as the contest progresses, so be on the look-out for that. Voting ends for round one on March 27th.
