The Steelers continued their on field practice preparations for Super Bowl XLV down in Dallas next Sunday night against the Green Bay Packers. The injury report and practice participation report is the same as the one turned in on Wednesday. C Maurkice Pouncey (ankle), S Will Allen (knee), S Troy Polamalu (Achilles), CB Bryant McFadden (abdomen), WR Emmanuel Sanders (foot) and T Jonathan Scott (ribs) all sat out again and Pouncey is the only player on that list in serious jeopardy of not being ready for Super Bowl. DE Aaron Smith (triceps) was limited once again and there are no signs yet that he will be ready to play either at this point, but that could change next week if he he can start participating fully. Pouncey is still currently in a hard cast and will not test the left ankle, if any, until the team is down in Dallas.
Packers players were off Thursday again and will have a full-pads practice on Friday. But if they had practiced Thursday, LB Erik Walden (ankle) and LB Frank Zombo (knee) would not have practiced. LB Desmond Bishop (ankle), T Chad Clifton (neck), LB A.J. Hawk (knee), WR Greg Jennings (knee) and C Jason Spitz (calf) would have been limited on Thursday.
