The Steelers worked out four players on Tuesday according to Adam Caplan of Fox Sports. Wide receivers Markee White and Andy Fantuz worked out along with linebackers Alex Hall and Harry Coleman.
White is 6\’7 and is probably best known as the Arena Bowl XXIII Offensive player of the game for the Spokane Shock. He last played for the Hartford Colonials of the UFL. Fantuz is 6\’4 and last played for the Saskatchewan Roughriders of the Canadian Football League where he hauled in 87 catches for 1380 yards and 6 touchdowns.
Hall was selected in the seventh round of the 2008 NFL Draft by the Cleveland Browns and played in all 16 regular season games his rookie year. He was traded to the Philadelphia Eagles and waived prior to the start of training camp. Hall also has been signed and released by the the Arizona Cardinals and New York Giants this season.
Coleman was signed as an undrafted free agent by the New Orleans Saints out of LSU but later released. He vtoo most recently played for the Hartford Colonials of the UFL.
None of the players that had workouts on Tuesday are expected to be signed by the Steelers. They are being looked at for future offseason contracts as possibly members of the 80 man roster in the offseason.
