The Steelers resumed practice preparations on Thursday for their Sunday night home game against the New England Patriots. S Will Allen (concussion), DE Brett Keisel (hamstring), G Chris Kemoeatu (knee, ankle), TE Heath Miller (knee) and DE Aaron Smith (triceps) did not practice on Thursday. Smith of course has long been ruled out and it is not looking good for Kemoeatu to play this week. He will be replaced by Ramon Foster at left guard. Allen had practiced fully on Wednesday and may have had a setback with his concussion. Miller and Keisel look questionable right now. RB Mewelde Moore (concussion) and RB Isaac Redman (concussion) both practiced fully for the second straight day. K Jeff Reed (illness) returned to the practice field on Thursday after missing Wednesday and has been removed from the injury report.
For the Patriots on Thursday, S Jarrad Page (calf) and NT Myron Pryor (back) sat out for a second straight day. S James Sanders (not injury related) was removed from the injury report after returning to practice on Thursday. QB Tom Brady (shoulder, foot) was limited after sitting on Wednesday. S Patrick Chung (knee), G Stephen Neal (shoulder), RB Fred Taylor (toe) and DL Mike Wright (groin) were all limited for a second straight day.
