ESPN AFC North blogger, James Walker, reports that quarterback Ben Roethlisberger was voted the best QB by his AFC North peers and linebacker James Harrison was voted the toughest player in the division. The facts come from a 2009 AFC North player survey and players could not vote for themselves or teammates.

Jamie Dukes of the NFL Network gave his top five NFL fan bases during the Wednesday, July 15, edition of their “Total Access” show. The Steelers weighed in at number 1.

Speaking of the NFL Network, they will have all 65 games airing on network this pre season. The entire NFL preseason schedule will be seen in high definition nationally including 12 live preseason games, the most in the network\’s history. If you miss a Steeler game, you can easily find the replay during the week.

West Virginia Power is hosting a dinner to benefit a new charity of former West Virginia Mountaineer and Pittsburgh Steeler Amos Zereoue. The charity, “Field of Minds” is geared toward teaming up with government parks and recreation departments in underprivledged areas across the United States. The charity dinner will be June 26 at the clubhouse at Appalachian Power Park in Charleston, W.VA.

The Steelers won two ESPY awards last night as the show was taped at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles. The ESPY\’s is set to air Sunday night at 9 p.m. on ESPN. Do not click the link if you do not want to see who won them.
