Steelers Six From Around The Web – Saturday June 20th

The Daily Record has a story on undrafted rookie quarterback, Mike Reilly, and his attempt to make the Steelers roster.

Scott Brown of the Tribune-Review seems to think draft pick Kraig Urbik will sign soon with Ziggy Hood bringing up the rear at the beginning of training camp. He thinks the Steelers will wait for a few teams who drafted ahead of them in round one, set the market value for Hood.

NFL.com Senior Analyst, Pat Kirwan, breaks down his selections of top 10 third-down defenses in 2009. He list the Steelers at number one.

Tennessee Titans linebacker Keith Bulluck received a gift in the mail from a Steelers fan and included a Terrible Towel. Bulluck does admit he will not be stomping on any towels soon. No word if LenDale White received a towel in the mail. If he did, he likely ate it.

Last week, Todd Irwin of the Altoona Mirror, caught up with former Steeler guard Gerry Mullins. Mullins was at the 12th annual Mount Aloysius College Celebrity Golf Tournament.

Here is an update on Patron, the pit bull formerly owned by linebacker James Harrison that bit his son. Seems Patron is doing well in his rehabilitation.
