Steelers Six From Around The Web – Wednesday June 10th

Good news on the legal front as prosecutors dropped marijuana possession charges against wide receiver Santonio Holmes this morning after deciding there was not probable cause for the traffic stop that led to the charges. Hopefully Holmes will use this as a learning lesson and move on to both superstar and role model status for the youth of the world.

The Steelers received their Super Bowl rings on Tuesday. Steelers.com has excellent pictures of the ring design.

The Steelers did not practice on Tuesday as scheduled, but instead went bowling. No word if Big Ben fell down again. The Steelers will resume OTA workouts today and Thursday.

A limited number of individual game tickets for the 2009 Steelers home games will be available through Ticketmaster beginning on Saturday, June 20, at 10:00 a.m. You better be on early and hitting refresh as these will not last long.

It is official, Patsies quarterback Tom Brady can not walk on water. Brady flipped his rented kayak and had to be fished out of the Charles River. It is rumored Brady blamed the flip on Gisele, the Charles River and his offensive line.

As the Brett Favre saga continues… They say Ben is a drama queen? Give me a break. Brett Favre is the queen of drama queens. Sure Favre will sign with the Vikings and the Vikings will just miss the playoffs. I am tired of hearing about it.
