The Pittsburgh Steelers take on the Cleveland Browns in a meaningless game to close out the 2008 regular season. For the Browns, it is their version of the Super Bowl and in all likelihood will be the final game for head coach Romeo Crennel, who is rumored to be fired next week. For the Steelers it is a dress rehearsal for the playoffs. The Steelers will certainly play the starters on a limited basis and will look to get their running game some work in the process. The Browns are down to their fourth quarterback in the form of Bruce Gradkowski and will look to also mix in utility player Joshua Cribbs in some wildcat formations. The most intriguing factor for the Steelers will be if they make third string quarterback Dennis Dixon active for the game to work on some trickery of their own. The Steelers will also look to come out of the game as healthy as possible while still trying to sweep the division.
This will probably be a laugher for the Steelers regardless of what string plays.
Prediction: Steelers 34 Browns 10
