The Pittsburgh Steelers filled the two open spots on their practice squad Tuesday by signing two familiar players.
Signed to the 10-man practice squad Tuesday were running back Brandon Brown-Dukes and cornerback Brandon Dixon.
Brown-Dukes has bounced on and off the Steelers practice squad all season. He was last released by the team at the beginning of December. The Mercyhurst product signed originally with the Steelers as an undrafted free agent this past May and was with the team throughout training camp and the preseason.
As for Dixon, this his is second stint on the Steelers practice squad this season. He was released from the 10-man unit just a week ago. He entered the league in 2014 as an undrafted free agent with the New York Jets and has since been a practice squad player with several different teams over the course of the last few years.
