The Cincinnati Bengals released their Thursday injury report a few hours ago and four players failed to practice earlier in the day.
Sitting out Thursday were wide receiver Mario Alford (not injury related), linebacker Vontaze Burfict (not injury related), safety George Iloka (groin), and cornerback Adam Jones (foot).
Despite saying on Wednesday that he wouldn’t be play Sunday against the Pittsburgh Steelers, Jones reportedly had his cast cut off on Thursday. In other words, we’ll have to wait until Friday to see if he is ruled out on the final injury report.
Burfict was added to the injury report on Thursday but it’s only because he was given the day off to rest.
Tackle Jake Fisher (concussion) and cornerback Leon Hall (back) were both limited on Thursday. Fisher is a new addition to the injury report.
Practicing fully on Thursday were guard Clint Boling (neck), tight end Tyler Eifert (neck), tight end Ryan Hewitt (knee), cornerback Dre Kirkpatrick (knee), and cornerback Josh Shaw (back).
