Now that the Pittsburgh Steelers have set their initial 53 man roster, the next order of business is to assemble their 16 man practice squad. Keep in mind there are a different set of rules for the taxi squad this season. Teams can have up to six veterans part of this group who wouldn’t have been eligible in past seasons. Essentially, everyone is eligible to be placed on this list.

Update (7:16 PM):
Those two spots will reportedly go to Devlin Hodges and Wendell Smallwood.
The return of Josh Dobbs means Devlin Hodges, who started six games in 2019, will be placed on the practice squad. The Steelers announced the signing of 14 players to the practice squad, leaving open two spots. Hodges and RB Wendell Smallwood are expected to fill those spots.
