Season 10, Episode 70 of The Terrible Podcast is now in the can and in this Friday show, Alex Kozora and I start by going over the news of the Pittsburgh Steelers hiring Matt Canada to be the team’s quarterback coach. We discuss Canada’s coaching history in addition to things he brings to the table when it comes to input with the Steelers offense.
Steelers team president Art Rooney II held numerous end-of-the-season recap interviews the last few days just as he always does so Alex and I go go through the process of discussing all of his main talking points. We discuss Rooney’s comments on the Steelers backup quarterback situation, the rehab of quarterback Ben Roethlisberger, his thoughts on the 2019 season as a whole and the team’s plans when it comes to players such as outside linebacker Bud Dupree, inside linebacker Ryan Shazier and outside linebacker T.J. Watt, just to name a few. We also discuss Rooney’s thoughts on the Steelers running game and how it needs to improve immediately.
The NFL’s championship games will take place on Sunday so Alex and I preview those two contests and give our picks for each as it relates to the point spreads.
Alex and I finally close out this Friday show by answering several email questions we received from listeners.
