Zach Banner has become something of a fan favorite in Pittsburgh. The kneeldown blocks. The Twitter “beef” with Devlin Hodges. Chirping Mike Tomlin on social media for refusing to use him as a fullback. All of that is fun and makes the year enjoyable, especially when your team is winning, but Banner isn’t on the roster for those reasons. He’s done a great job getting back into the league after his weight nearly caused him to fall out of it, make the roster, and provide a positive impact week in, week out.
Sunday against the Arizona Cardinals was arguably his best game and his largest share of offensive snaps. In this video, we check out his run blocking and the contributions he provided.
