Season 10, Episode 59 of The Terrible Podcast is now in the can and in this Wednesday Christmas morning show, Alex Kozora and I start by going over the transactions made on Tuesday by the Pittsburgh Steelers and what the team’s early Week 17 injury report looks like.
We discuss what a crazy 2019 season Steelers Mason Rudolph had as it is now over with due to a shoulder injury. We also talk quite a bit about quarterback play during the first part of the show. What’s the latest on the future of Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger? We go over the recent reports by Chris Mortensen concerning Roethlisberger’s future and how the quarterback responded to them Christmas morning.
Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin held a shorter-than-usual press conference on Tuesday but even so, he gave us a few key talking points to discuss and Alex and I do just that. It leads to us talking quite a bit about the Steelers running game woes this season and more.
Will the Steelers turn to quarterback Paxton Lynch at any point during Sunday’s regular season finale against the Baltimore Ravens? We discuss that topic and actually get into a hypothetical or two regarding the quarterback position
Alex and I have both reviewed the all-22 tape from the Steelers Sunday week 16 road loss to the New York Jets and make sure to go over several things that stuck out to us both good and bad on both sides of the football.
Alex and I finally close out this show like we close out most episodes and that’s by answering several email questions we received from listeners.
