The Pittsburgh Steelers have now released their first injury report of Week 14 ahead of their Sunday road game against the Arizona Cardinals and the Wednesday offering includes no huge surprises.
Not practicing for the Steelers on Wednesday were wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster (knee), inside linebacker Mark Barron (not injury related) and tight end Vance McDonald (not injury related).
Smith-Schuster is almost certain not to play on Sunday against the Cardinals as he just started running again on Wednesday. Barron and McDonald were both likely just given Wednesday off to rest and both should resume practicing on Thursday and be ready to play on Sunday against the Cardinals
Limited in practice on Wednesday for the Steelers were running back James Conner (shoulder) and wide receiver Diontae Johnson (illness).
Conner didn’t seem to optimistic about playing on Sunday against the Cardinals when he talked on his weekly radio show Monday evening. He has yet to practice fully since aggravating his shoulder in Week 11.
Steelers cornerback Artie Burns is not on the injury report to start Week 14. Burns missed the last two games with a knee injury so it appears as though he’s fully healthy again.
