The Pittsburgh Steelers beat the Cincinnati Bengals on the road Sunday afternoon to move to 6-5 on the season and it appears as though the team will get out of Week 12 without suffering any serious injuries as well.
According to Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin after the game, outside linebacker T.J. Watt suffered a bone bruise during the contest but was able ti finish. Watt left the game briefly in the second half but did indeed return to the game.
“Other than that, just bumps and bruises associated with play,” Tomlin said. “And well assess that and prepare for our next opportunity.”
The Steelers had three players miss the Sunday road game against the Bengals with injuries as running back James Conner (shoulder) wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster (concussion/knee) and cornerback Artie Burns (knee) were all inactive.
Its too early to tell if either of those three players will make it make for the Steelers Week 13 home game against the Cleveland Browns. Tomlin will next address the health of his team on Tuesday during his weekly press conference.
