The Pittsburgh Steelers have now released their first injury report of Week 9 ahead of their Sunday home game against the Indianapolis Colts and the Wednesday offering really doesn’t include any surprises on it.

Players not practicing for the Steelers on Wednesday were running back Benny Snell Jr. (knee), running back James Conner (shoulder), center Maurkice Pouncey (calf), guard Ramon Foster (concussion), defensive tackle Daniel McCullers (ankle), tight end Vance McDonald (not injury related) and inside linebacker Mark Barron (not injury related).

Conner said Tuesday night that he thinks he might ultimately be a game-time decision on Sunday due to the shoulder injury he suffered late in Monday night game. Snell needs to practice if he’s going to play on Sunday.

Foster likely remains in concussion protocol right now after leaving the Monday game late in the first half. Hopefully he’ll be cleared from that by the weekend if that’s the case. Pouncey played through his calf injury Monday night so odds are good he’ll play against the Colts. McDonald and Barron were both given veteran days off on Wednesday.

Limited on Wednesday for the Steelers was rookie linebacker Ulysees Gilbert III (back). He missed the Monday night game due to his back problem that surfaced late last week.

Practicing fully on Wednesday for the Steelers was running back Jaylen Samuels, who is expected to play Sunday against the Colts after missing the team’s last two games with a knee injury.
