The Los Angeles Chargers have finally released their first injury report of Week 6 ahead of them hosting the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday night and the Wednesday offering shows that five players failed to practice earlier in the day.
Not practicing for the Chargers on Wednesday were safety Nasir Adderley (hamstring), kicker Michael Badgley (right groin), defensive end Melvin Ingram (hamstring), running back Justin Jackson (calf), and wide receiver Andre Patton (quad).
Ingram and Adderley both missed the Chargers Week 5 game and it will be interesting to see if either are ultimately able to play Sunday night against the Steelers. Badgley is already expected to miss the Sunday night game. Jackson has missed the Chargers last two games.
Limited for the Chargers on Wednesday were cornerback Casey Hayward (back) and tight end Hunter Henry (knee). Henry has been sidelined since Week 1 and Wednesday was the first time he’s practiced since suffering his knee injury.
Practicing fully on Wednesday for the Chargers were punter Ty Long (left foot) and linebacker Denzel Perryman (ankle).
As previously reported earlier in the day, the Chargers placed center Mike Pouncey on their Reserve/Injured list on Wednesday due to a neck injury. He will need surgery and will miss the remainder of the season.
