Season 10, Episode 17 of The Terrible Podcast is now in the can and in this Friday show, Alex Kozora and I get right to recapping the injury reports of the Pittsburgh Steelers and Seattle Seahawks ahead of the Sunday meeting between the two teams at Heinz Field.
With the Steelers Week 1 loss to the New England Patriots now in the rear-view mirror, Alex and I discuss what all Steelers coordinators Randy Fichtner and Keith Butler both had to say about the Sunday night loss.
Should and will the Steelers look into trading for Miami Dolphins defensive back Minkah Fitzpatrick with him now reportedly being shopped? Alex and I have a good conversation in attempt to answer that question. We discuss the chances of such a trade happening and more.
Alex and I are joined by Brady Henderson, who covers the Seahawks for espn.com in the first portion of this show. Henderson joined us on Wednesday for about 25 minutes to give his thoughts on the 2019 Seahawks in addition to answering several questions we had for him about the team’s Sunday game against the Steelers. We talk some about what the Seahawks did in their Week 1 home win against the Cincinnati Bengals and much, much more.
Alex and then move forward with our own Friday preview of the Steelers home game against the Seahawks. This includes our full thoughts on Seattle’s offense, defense and special teams. We go over what we expect to see from the Steelers offense and defense on Sunday as well.
It’s Friday, so Alex and I make our Friday picks against the spread for the remaining 15 games that will be played this weekend and Monday night. We give our final score predictions for the Steelers Sunday game against the Seahawks as well. These picks come courtesy of our show sponsor, MyBookie.ag.
We wrap this long show up with our thoughts on the six former Steelers players who were listed Thursday as Modern-Era candidates for Pro Football Hall of Fame class.
As usual, Alex and I answer a few email questions that we received from listeners since our last show posted to close out this episode.
As always, several other smaller talking points are mixed in throughout the show that are not highlighted here in this post.
