The Pittsburgh Steelers have now released their list of seven players who will be inactive for the team’s Monday night Week 4 home game against the Cincinnati Bengals and as expected, it includes all four players who ended the week on the team’s Saturday injury report with game designations.
Inactive for the Steelers Monday night after being officially ruled out for the Week 4 game on the Saturday injury report are fullback Roosevelt Nix (knee), outside linebacker Anthony Chickillo (foot) and inside linebacker Vince Williams (hamstring). This marks the third consecutive game that Nix has missed and the second consecutive game missed for both Chickillo and Williams, both of whom were injured in the team’s Week 2 home loss.
Also inactive for the Steelers Monday night is tight end Vance McDonald (shoulder), who ended the week listed as doubtful on the Saturday injury report after failing to practice all week.
The rest of the Steelers three inactives for Week 4 are all healthy scratches and the list of players includes quarterback tackle Chukwuma Okorafor, guard Fred Johnson, and defensive end Isaiah Buggs.
Steelers rookies cornerback Justin Layne and tight end Zach Gentry are both dressed again and active Monday night as is wide receiver Donte Moncrief, who was inactive last Sunday.
