Season 10, Episode 11 of The Terrible Podcast is now in the can and in this Friday show, Alex Kozora and I get right to discussing the Pittsburgh Steelers preseason finale game against the Carolina Panthers. We go over all the position groups while reviewing the game and that’s all parlayed into 53-man roster predictions with the heavy slant being on my final list that went up Friday morning.
We go over the real tough final decisions that we think the Steelers coaches will need to make between now and Saturday evening and also discuss the various things that could happen with roster shuffling should any player need to go to Reserve/Injured with hopes of later getting the designated to return tag.
As you would expect, we discuss what the Steelers quarterback depth chart should look like for Week 1 and also go over a few players we think might land on the practice squad. Will the Steelers Week 1 53-man roster look different than their Saturday night 53-man roster? We discuss that and also talk some about the comments general manager Kevin Colbert made prior to the Thursday night game about the tight end depth chart and a possible contract extension for cornerback Joe Haden.
As usual, Alex and I answer a few email questions that we received from listeners since our last show posted to close out this episode.
As always, several other smaller talking points are mixed in throughout the show that are not highlighted here in this post.
