Season 9, Episode 100 of The Terrible Podcast is now in the can and in this Friday show, Alex Kozora and I immediately talk more about the players the Pittsburgh Steelers have now had in for pre-draft visits as of Thursday night and how the running back position appears to be in the team’s selection plans at some point.
The AAF has now suspended operations so Alex and I discuss that topic in addition to talking about one player from that league that has a Friday visit scheduled with the Steelers. We also discuss how a few other former AAF players are now being signed around the NFL.
The Cleveland Browns are signing former Steelers safety Morgan Burnett on Friday so Alex and I make sure discuss that news briefly.
Alex posted a new Steelers mock draft on Wednesday so we review his ten selections from top to bottom. After going over that mock draft, Alex and I spend a considerable amount time breaking down Alabama linebacker Mack Wilson just as we did with Michigan linebacker Devin Bush last Friday. On the heels of that discussion about Wilson, Alex and I discuss a few other inside linebackers the Steelers might have their eyes on.
Rounding out our draft prospects discussions on this Friday are quick looks at Iowa tight end Noah Fant, Maryland safety Darnell Savage, Jr. and Central Michigan cornerback Sean Bunting. We also talk briefly about Florida State edge Brian Burns
