Season 9, Episode 99 of The Terrible Podcast is now in the can and in this Tuesday show, Alex Kozora and I immediately talk some about the Pittsburgh Steelers release of safety Morgan Burnett on Monday and how it affects the salary cap.
The Washington pro day was on Monday so Alex and I go over who we saw from the Steelers there and what that potentially means. We also go over who the team has had in for pre-draft visits as of Tuesday morning and also go over a few names of players who were expected to visit on Tuesday.
The Cleveland Browns are reportedly attempting to trade running back Duke Johnson so Alex and I discuss if the Steelers should have any interest in him. We also talk about the potential of the Steelers drafting another running back this year in the first five rounds.
Should Clemson edge Clelin Ferrell be a player we start discussing more as the team’s potential first-round selection this year? Alex and I dive into that topic and go over some of what we’ve seen on tape from him.
My second mock draft of 2019 went up on the site on Monday so Alex and I review it from top to bottom.
As usual, we close this episode by answering several emails we have received from listeners over the course of the last several days.
