Season 7, Episode 111 of The Terrible Podcast is now up and in this Friday show, Alex Kozora sits in for David Todd once again and we open things up by talking about the Pittsburgh Steelers 2017 rookie minicamp as well as the full roster of players who are scheduled to participate in it this weekend.
Alex and I attempt to identify a few of this year’s tryout players who have a shot at being signed to the 90-man roster after the rookie minicamp is over in addition to talking a little more about a few undrafted free agents who could possibly make some noise in the coming days.
New Steelers quarterback Joshua Dobbs has been the focus of an ongoing study that I’m currently conducting so Alex and I go over a few things that have stuck out thus far while reviewing his third down incompletions from his 2016 season at Tennessee. We talk about why the study was necessary as well.
Dobbs played behind several offensive line combinations last season at Tennessee as well so Alex and I review that situation that needs to be considered while reviewing his 2016 game tape.
We make sure to catch everyone up on all the recent Steelers roster moves in this show and end the episode by answering a few listener questions that we received on Twitter.
As always, several other smaller talking points are mixed in throughout the show that are not highlighted here in this post.
