The Pittsburgh Steelers’ big-wigs escaped the cold with a trip to Clemson’s Pro Day, according to several media members on hand for today’s workout.

As usual, the Tigers have several prospects on hand to check out. For the Steelers needs, they’re led by running back Wayne Gallman and CB Cordrea Tankersley. Gallman put up big numbers his final two years, rushing for over 1500 yards in 2015 and 1100 with 17 touchdowns a year ago.
Tankersley was a ballhawk, picking off nine passes over the past two seasons, and despite a 6’1 frame, is viewed as someone who can play in the slot, which will make him all the more attractive to defenses trying to get bigger across the board. Both players should hear their name called on Day Two.
Other names to note are tight end Jordan Leggett, a vertical threat who doesn’t offer much else, and Mike Williams, who is expected to be one of the top two receivers taken in this year’s draft. His 40 time has been all over the map but generally agreed to be somewhere in the mid 4.5’s, a respectable time for someone everyone knows isn’t going to run the 100 meter dash anyway.
Check out the scouting report we’ve written on Leggett below. You can expect reports on Gallman and Tankersley in the next two weeks.
