Monday afternoon, NFL Network draft analyst Mike Mayock held his annual conference call with the media ahead of the 2017 NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis and as usual, he talked extensively about several players. As you can imagine, the session was quite lengthy but definitely well worth a listen.
Mayock said during his Q & A session that he really believes this year’s draft class is deep when it comes to edge-rushers and cornerbacks so that’s good news for the Pittsburgh Steelers. Mayock opened his conference call with his thoughts on players not being invited to this year’s combine who have character red zones and he certainly makes a compelling argument as to why they should be allowed to attend.
Below is the audio from that call and it’s a little more than 128 minutes in length.
