If you have a little bit of free time today, you might want to listen to the Thursday edition of the Cal Cast, which is hosted by Kentucky head men’s basketball coach John Calipari as he had Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger on as a guest.
While Roethlisberger didn’t address his playing future with Calipari during the lengthy interview, he did discuss quite a few other topics related to his college career, other sports, as well as play-calling, Mike Tomlin and even his prediction for Super Bowl LI.
Roethlisberger did have this to say about the New England Patriots ahead of Sunday’s Super Bowl.
“I’d say there is more respect than hatred,” Roethlisberger said. “I don’t think there is a hatred there. We’ve played them twice in my 13 years in the championship game. Obviously, they’ve gotten the better of us in two championship games. They’ve kind of had our number. We’re like the little brother trying to keep up with the big brother, in a sense.”
There are too many items to recap so I suggest you listen to the full interview below. If you need to download it, here is the iTunes link for you.
