Season 7, Episode 49 of The Terrible Podcast is now up and in this Friday show, David Todd and I get right to talking about the officiating in the Thursday night game between the Dallas Cowboys and the Minnesota Vikings. Is the officiating getting worse? Will full-time referees help? We discuss those topics in addition to whether or not the NFL is currently on a downward trend.
The Pittsburgh Steelers have a tough matchup Sunday at home against the New York Giants and ahead of thoroughly previewing that contest, David and I go over the injury report in addition to talking about a possibly roster move that could take place on Saturday.
Will the Steelers sit one of their five outside linebackers against the Giants? We discuss that topic as well.
David and I then proceed to look at what the Steelers might have to do on both sides of the football Sunday against the Giants in order to win the game. That includes us passing along a few stats to you as well.
The New England Patriots have reportedly lost tight end Rob Gronkowski for the remainder of the season so David and I discuss that news as it relates to their Super Bowl chances and more importantly, their upcoming game against the Baltimore Ravens.
As usual, David and I close out this Friday show with our weekly picks of the upcoming games. When it comes to the Steelers game against the Giants, we both have the home team winning this one.
With a few minutes left in the show, David and I throw out some bold predictions in addition to talking about a potential rule change thanks to what transpired at the end of the Ravens game last Sunday.
As always, several other smaller talking points are mixed in throughout the show that are not highlighted here in this post.
