Season 7, Episode 50 of The Terrible Podcast is now up and in this Monday show, David Todd and I get right to talking about the Pittsburgh Steelers Sunday win over the New York Giants at Heinz Field.
There’s quite a bit to talk about following this big Week 13 win by the Steelers and David and I spend a good portion of this show talking about the play of the defense against the Giants.
We go over several individual performances on the defensive side of the football and make sure to recap the big red zone interception by linebacker Lawrence Timmons.
The play of the secondary is discussed quite a bit in the first half of this show and that includes us talking about rookies Artie Burns and Sean Davis.
After spending a lot of time on the Steelers defense, David and I finally get to the offense. We talk about how early play calling set up other plays later in the game and we focus in on the production of tight end Ladarius Green.
We discuss the play of the Steelers offensive line against the Giants in addition to whether or not we should be concerned about the recent fumbles by running back Le’Veon Bell.
The offense certainly made it tough on themselves Sunday with penalties and drops so we make sure to hit on that talking point.
At the end of the show we make sure to praise the efforts of new kicker Randy Bullock against the Giants.
As always, several other smaller talking points are mixed in throughout the show that are not highlighted here in this post.
