Season 7, Episode 61 of The Terrible Podcast is now up and in this Friday show, David Todd and I get right into talking briefly about what Pittsburgh Steelers upcoming Week 17 game against the Cleveland Browns and what we expect to see in this meaningless contest.
Will Sunday be the last meaningful playing time that backup quarterback Landry Jones has in a Steeler uniform? Will he be back next season and if not, what will the Steelers do when it comes to replacing him? We want to know what our listeners think about the Steelers potentially re-signing Jones during the offseason.
Will running back DeAngelo Williams see considerable playing time against the Browns? We set an over/under for his total touches and wonder if he’ll be back in 2017 as well.
We move on to go over what the expectations were for both the offense and defense this season and if both sides of the football met them.
Safety Sean Davis was named the Steelers top rookie of 2016 on Thursday so we review that honor.
As usual, we wrap up our Friday show by picking all the Week 17 games in the NFL in addition to the final score of the Steelers-Browns game. Additionally, we look ahead to the 2016 NFL playoffs and which teams have the best shot at making it to Super Bowl LI.
