The Cleveland Browns entered the final week of their 2016 season with 13 players listed on their injury report and as of Friday afternoon, that list of players has now shrunk to just four.
Ruled out on Friday for the Browns Sunday road game against the Pittsburgh Steelers was cornerback Trey Caldwell (hamstring) and it’s likely he’ll be placed on their Reserve/Injured list on Saturday.
Ending the week listed as questionable for the Browns were cornerback Joe Haden (neck, groin), linebacker Cam Johnson (groin) and running back Duke Johnson (ankle). Haden, by the way, was limited during the team’s Friday practice so it will be interesting to see if he winds up playing Sunday against the Steelers.
Removed from the Browns injury report on Friday were linebacker Dominique Alexander (abdomen, groin), long snapper Charley Hughlett (hamstring), cornerback Jamar Taylor (groin), tight end Randall Telfer (ankle, thumb), quarterback Robert Griffin III (concussion), wide receiver Ricardo Louis (thumb), wide receiver Terrelle Pryor (finger), and tackle Joe Thomas (knee).
Griffin, by the way, is now expected to start against the Steelers.
The Steelers enter the weekend as 6-point home favorites over the Browns.
