The Cincinnati Bengals will host the Pittsburgh Steelers Sunday at Paul Brown Stadium and their first initial injury report that was released on Wednesday includes quite a few names.
Not practicing for the Bengals on Wednesday were defensive end Wallace Gilberry (calf), cornerback Adam Jones (ankle) and wide receiver James Wright (knee). It should be noted, however, that Jones was likely just given a day off as he’s expected to play Sunday against the Steelers.
Limited on Wednesday for the Bengals were guard Clint Boling (shoulder), defensive end Carlos Dunlap (neck), wide receiver A.J. Green (hamstring), wide receiver Brandon LaFell (knee), safety Derron Smith (calf) and tight end C.J. Uzomah (calf).
It’s still unclear as to whether or not Green will return to the field Sunday as this was the first time he’s practiced in 24 days after suffering a significant hamstring injury in Week 11.
As for Wright, Smith, Uzomah and Gilberry, all four players sat out the Bengals game this past Sunday against the Cleveland Browns.
Long snapper Clark Harris (groin) was a full participant on Wednesday for the Bengals. Harris also missed the game against the Browns.
