Remember that bet that New York Jets wide receiver Brandon Marshall made with Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown prior to the start of the regular season? It involved which player would finish 2016 with more receiving yards. Marshall said he’d put up a Porsche, in exchange for Brown putting up a Rolls-Royce.
Entering the final week of the regular season, it’s safe to say that Brown will win that bet as he has 1,284 receiving yards while Marshall has registered just 788 yards.
While the Porsche in question reportedly isn’t even Marshall’s, Brown hasn’t forgotten about the bet and expects the Jets wide receiver to pay up in some form or fashion, we think.
Brown suggested that Marshall could send him the pink slip for the car or donate it to Project 375, which is Marshall’s mental health awareness charity. That’s probably hard to do being as the car doesn’t belong to Marshall.
It will be interesting to see what Marshall has to say when and if he responds to Brown on social media.
