The Pittsburgh Steelers have now released their final injury report for week 11 ahead of Sunday’s road game against the Cleveland Browns and as expected, five players have now been officially ruled out for that contest.
Ruled out on Friday were defensive end Cameron Heyward (pectoral), wide receiver Darrius Heyward-Bey (foot), safety Shamarko Thomas (groin), wide receiver Markus Wheaton (shoulder), and running back DeAngelo Williams (knee).
Heyward is expected to be placed on the team’s Reserve/Injured list on Saturday and it will be interesting to see if Wheaton joins him.
Ending the week listed as questionable are safety Jordan Dangerfield (groin) and tight end Xavier Grimble (quadricep). Both were limited during some practices this past week.
Removed from the team’s injury report on Friday were wide receiver Sammie Coates (finger), tight end Ladarius Green (knee) and center Maurkice Pouncey (finger) and thus all are expected to play Sunday against the Browns.
