The New England Patriots have now released their Wednesday injury report ahead of Sunday’s game against the Pittsburgh Steelers at Heinz Field and it includes several players being listed as limited practice participants.
Limited on Wednesday for the Patriots were tight end Martellus Bennett (Ankle), running back Brandon Bolden (Knee), linebacker Jamie Collins (Hip), wide receiver Julian Edelman (Foot), quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo (Right Shoulder), defensive tackle Woodrow Hamilton (Shoulder), linebacker Shea McClellin (Concussion), wide receiver Malcolm Mitchell (Hamstring), linebacker Elandon Roberts (Ankle), and defensive tackle Vincent Valentine (Back).
As a point of reference, Bolden, McClellin, Collins, and Valentine were all inactive for the Patriots game this past Sunday against the Cincinnati Bengals. Despite being listed as questionable last Friday on the Patriots injury report, Bennett and Mitchell both played against the Bengals.
On the surface, the Patriots appear to be a fairly healthy team heading into Sunday’s game against the Steelers.
