Season 7, Episode 12 of The Terrible Podcast is now up and in this Wednesday show, David Todd and I get right to discussing his new position with the Pittsburgh Steelers.
After having a little fun with the comments made by head coach Mike Tomlin concerning David’s clock management skills, we turn our attention to the Steelers seemingly long list of injured players that were revealed on Tuesday ahead of the team’s Monday night season opener against the Washington Redskins.
Tomlin had quite a few talking points on Tuesday that David and I cover and it includes the possibly use of a dime defense against the Redskins. We discus that in addition to the comments had about new cornerback Justin Gilbert possibly being the team’s kick returner in the opener as well.
David and I have a long discussion about how much playing time several of the Steelers wide receivers not named Antonio Brown will receive against the Redskins in addition to talking about the snaps that young defensive tackles Daniel McCullers and Javon Hargrave might receive as well.
Tomlin gave us several other nuggets to chew on as well and we also discuss the Steelers signing running back David Cobb to their practice squad on Wednesday.
David and I has a great Wednesday morning interview with Brian McNally, the Redskins beat reporter for 106.7 The Fan, however, due to technical problems with our recorder, the audio was unfortunately lost in the process. Because of that, David and I are forced to recap what all he had to say about the Redskins at the end of this show. Please keep in mind that David intends on having Brian as a guest on his radio show on Friday, so make sure you listen to that if at all possible.
