The Pittsburgh Steelers and Philadelphia Eagles have released their inactive lists for Sunday’s Week 3 game and as expected, wide receiver Markus Wheaton will make his 2016 debut.
With Wheaton active, the Steelers will dress five wide receivers for a game for the first time this season.
Three Steelers players will miss the Sunday game against the Eagles because of injuries and they are fullback Roosevelt Nix (back), center/guard Cody Wallace (knee) and cornerback Senquez Golson (foot).
The healthy scratches this week are quarterback Zach Mettenberger, defensive end L.T. Walton, linebacker Steven Johnson and tackle/guard Chris Hubbard.
With Hubbard down, it means the Steelers will only have 7 offensive linemen dressed and it means that B.J. Finney will be the interior backup.
