Season 6, Episode 124 of The Terrible Podcast is now up and in this Friday show, Alex Kozora sits in for David Todd once again and we start things off by discussing the future contract of Pittsburgh Steelers running back Le’Veon Bell now that Pat Kirwan has also chimed in on the situation. We discuss why it is in the best interest of both sides to get a deal done this offseason as opposed to next year.
Being as we talked about Bell again in this episode, Alex and I turn our attention to the running back positional group ahead of the start of training camp. We discuss the playing time split we might see between Bell and veteran DeAngelo Williams and whether or not we think Fitzgerald Toussaint should be considered a lock to make the final 53-man roster this year as the team’s No. 3 running back. We discuss the other running backs currently on the roster as well in addition to talking about fullback Roosevelt Nix and how he performed last season before going down injured.
Is Steelers defensive end Stephon Tuitt the team’s most underrated player both nationally and locally? We discuss that topic thoroughly to close out this Friday show.
