Happy Friday to all of you and welcome to the month of July. As many of you know by now, I lost my good friend Toby this past week and the last few days have been very rough for me and my wife. I appreciate all of the condolences several of you have already passed along to me via Twitter and email as it means a lot to me. I’m not sure how I will be able to break down tape without him by my side moving forward. We will miss him dearly.
The month of July arriving now means we can all look forward to the Pittsburgh Steelers starting training camp in Latrobe very soon. I certainly can’t wait and look forward to all of the daily reports that Alex Kozora will be providing for all of us. In the meantime, we still have to find a way to get through these next four weeks of nothingness. It won’t be easy, but all of us here will do our best to keep you entertained.
As usual, I have five new questions for you to answer on this hot July Friday evening and I hope several of you will chime in with your answers in the comments below in order to entertain me. If you are traveling on this long holiday weekend, please be careful and do not drink and drive. Peace and love to all of you.
1 – Name the one defensive player the Steelers will play against in 2016 that you fear the most?
2 – Part 1: Do you think Steelers linebacker James Harrison will ultimately wind up meeting with the league to discuss the steroid allegations on the day the team reports to training camp, or before then? Part 2: Any chance all of this winds up in the courts?
3 – How many games will Steelers wide receiver Darrius Heyward-Bey register at least two receptions in during the 2016 regular season?
4 – Which will be greater in 2016: Receptions by running back Le’Veon Bell or total Steelers defensive sacks? Predict both numbers for me.
5 – What percent chance would you put on Steelers safety Shamarko Thomas not making the final 53-man roster this year?
