The NFL Network is finally done counting down their annual Top 100 players in the NFL and Wednesday night it was revealed that Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown finished ranked fourth overall. Last year, Brown was ranked 8th overall and 23rd overall in 2014.
Over the course of past three seasons, Brown has registered 375 receptions for 5,031 yards and 31 touchdowns and that included him catching a career-high 136 passes for 1,834 yards and 10 touchdowns in 2015.
Brown, who is also up for an ESPY this year, was the top-rated wide receiver in this year’s rankings which are supposedly voted on by players around the league. According to the NFL Network a few weeks ago, only 700 players voted this year. The two wide receivers finishing behind Brown and in the top 10 were Julio Jones (8th) and Odell Beckham Jr. (10th).
Brown became the fourth Steelers player to make this year’s top-100 list as he was preceded earlier in the countdown by quarterback Ben Roethlisberger (21st), defensive end Cameron Heyward (88th) and running back Le’Veon Bell (41st).
Finishing ahead of Brown in this year’s countdown were J.J. Watt, Tom Brady and Cam Newton.
