Season 6, Episode 118 of The Terrible Podcast is now up and in this Friday show, Alex Kozora sits in for David Todd once again and we kick things off by talking about our overall thoughts on the Pittsburgh Steelers recently concluded mandatory minicamp. That includes us talking about the list of players who appear to have missed some time during the entire offseason due to minor injuries.
With the team now off for the next several weeks before the start of training camp, Alex and I discuss the importance of players improving their level of conditioning and how we’re glad to hear that cornerback Senquez Golson plans to improve his by working with Tom Shaw in Florida.
There was quite a bit of news about running back Le’Veon Bell this past week so we make sure to dedicate a large part of our Friday discussion to him. We also discuss his contract situation once again and I give several reasons as to why the team should really consider extending him this year instead of waiting until after the 2016 season.
We make sure to hit on several of the other important talking points that came out this past week as well and that includes us discussing center Maurkice Pouncey revealing that he had more than his fair share of surgeries last season.
As always, several other smaller talking points are mixed in throughout the show that are not highlighted here in this post.
