It’s hard to believe that it’s already been one year since former Pittsburgh Steelers cornerback Ike Taylor retired from the NFL. On Thursday, Taylor talked about how quickly his first year out of football has flown by in addition to telling former NFL running back Maurice Jones-Drew how he feels his time as an NFL Network analyst has gone so far and you can watch that interview below.
Late during his long career with the Steelers it was easy to see that Taylor would potentially be a natural when it came to him possibly entering television as an analyst after his playing days were over. His unpolished demeanor makes him very likable and his knowledge of the game as a former has certainly helped him in that professional field.
Taylor played 12 seasons in the NFL with the Steelers and recorded 636 total regular season tackles in addition to 14 interceptions. He won two Super Bowls as a member of the Steelers and played in a third.
