The Pittsburgh Steelers may have added Ryan Harris but they’re not necessarily done adding to their offensive line. Former New York Giant Geoff Schwartz is visiting the team today, according to ESPN’s Josina Anderson.
Schwartz was released by the Giants on February 10th, after constant injuries derailed his time there. He broke his leg in Week 12 and was placed on injured reserve on November 30th. He was placed on injured reserve in December of the year before with an ankle injury. He was placed on the IR/to return list to start the 2014 season.
He has experience at tackle and guard and would be a swing man for the team, mostly on the interior.
Schwartz had interest from the Miami Dolphins and a planned, but cancelled, visit with the Arizona Cardinals.
He does a weekly podcast with Duke Manyweather, Block Em Up, and has stated he is fully healthy from his broken leg. Schwartz is also very active on Twitter and you can follow him here.
