The NFL has officially announced the Wild Card schedule. The Pittsburgh Steelers will take on the Cincinnati Bengals at Paul Brown Stadium Saturday night. Kickoff is set for 8:15 PM.
The two teams split the regular season matchup. The Bengals won the first game, 16-10, while the Steelers took the second meeting, 33-20. In each game, the road team won. Obviously, the Steelers will be on the road for this one.
The two biggest injuries to monitor are Andy Dalton and DeAngelo Williams. Dalton broke his thumb in that second matchup and status is unknown for Saturday’s game, though initial indications make him sound unlikely to play. Williams’ suffered a foot injury Sunday, leaving the stadium in a walking boot. His status is unknown for next week.
The Steelers are looking for their first playoff wins since 2010, when they beat the Baltimore Ravens 31-24, going on to play in, but lose, the Super Bowl to the Green Bay Packers and the New York Jets in the AFC Championship. They are 0-2 in their last two playoff appearances, including a defeat to the Ravens in the 2014 Wild Card.
