The initial snap counts from the Pittsburgh Steelers Sunday win over the Cleveland Browns are now in and there are a few things worth noting in the numbers.
Running back Fitzgerald Toussaint played a career-high 33 snaps against the Browns after being forced into the game replace injured starter DeAngelo Williams. Wide receiver Martavis Bryant played a season-low 12 snaps due a minor injury, illness and ineffectiveness. Bryant was not sharp Sunday after missing practice time during the week.
Defensively for the Steelers, linebacker James Harrison played 67 snaps as Jarvis Jones was knocked out of the game with a minor injury. Cornerback Brandon Boykin played 62 total snaps and that likely means he was on the field for most of, if not all of, the nickel sub package plays.
Young nose tackle Daniel McCullers only played 2 snaps Sunday against the Browns and defensive end Cam Thomas only played 3.
