From one player who wasn’t fined who should have been to another who has appeared to be fine over a less egregious action.
It sounds like William Gay has been fined for his end zone celebration following his pick six against the Cincinnati Bengals last Sunday. He took to Instagram a short time ago to express his displeasure in two posts.
Per league rules, the first offense for an unsportsmanlike conduct, which Gay was called for after his celebration, is $11, 576.
Gay danced in the end zone with Brandon Boykin, continued it to the field with Antwon Blake, and then “swam” over to hug Joey Porter.

As Gay shows in his first post, he apparently wasn’t fined for the same action last season.
This comes directly on the heels of Vontaze Burfict not being fined for his low hit on Ben Roethlisberger Sunday.
It is Gay’s second find of the season. He was fined $5,787 for wearing purple cleats earlier in the year in order to promote domestic violence awareness.
