Steelers Injury Report: Shazier, Miller Probable For Sunday

Week 15 is again bringing good news on the injury front for the Pittsburgh Steelers. All players who were limited in practice this week will be listed as probable on this afternoon’s official report, per Bob Labriola of Steelers.com.

Headlining the injury report during the week has been running back DeAngelo Williams (illness), tight end Matt Spaeth (knee), tight end Heath Miller (rib), linebacker Ryan Shazier (knee), safety Mike Mitchell (shoulder), and linebacker Bud Dupree (back). Mitchell and Dupree were injured during last week’s game while Miller and Shazier have dealt with their injuries for weeks. It almost feels like Mike Tomlin is intentionally giving Shazier at least one day off per week to give his body some much-needed rest.

Safety Will Allen (not injury related), cornerback William Gay (not injury related) and linebacker James Harrison (not injury related) all practiced fully on Friday and end the week listed as probable as well.

Expect all of them to be a full-go on Sunday. The Steelers are remarkably healthy for this time of year after a dreadful start to the season from an injury perspective. It’s rare for teams at this point in the year to have a clean slate almost across the board.

Stay tuned for the Denver Broncos injury report later in the day that will surely be more interesting than this.
